Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia Steven Point reveals why he started the Aboriginal Literacy Project, where he first got the idea, and how the project first developed. In each of the ten Canadian provinces the Lieutenant Governor has the choice to decide what project they wish to follow, and bringing books into remote aboriginal communities in Manitoba and Ontario had already proved successful.
