It’s winter, so many Write to Read projects are on the backburner, but not all. Construction proceeds on the new library in Malahat. The Kwanu Kwasen community building is a project of the South Cowichan Rotary Club. Designed by architect Scott Kemp, the library features another module donated by Britco, which is tucked into the larger overall building, left, as the photograph shows. The building will be officially opened by BC Lt. Governor Judy Guichon when finished.
